Western Illinois is a collegiate American football team representing Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. The team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) as a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The team's colors are purple and gold, and they are known as the Leathernecks.
