The Marshall Thundering Herd women's basketball team represents Marshall University in NCAA Division I college basketball competition. They are a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Thundering Herd are led by head coach Juli Fulks and play their home games at the on-campus Cam Henderson Center which opened in 1981. Marshall has appeared twice in the NCAA tournament, most recently in 2024.

The Marshall Women's basketball team represents the United States in international competitions. Comprised of talented and skilled female athletes, the team is known for their competitive spirit, teamwork, and dedication to the sport. With a history of success on the international stage, the Marshall Women's team is a powerhouse in the world of basketball. They are proud ambassadors of the sport and embody the values of hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Whether they are competing in the Olympics, World Championships, or other prestigious tournaments, the Marshall Women's team always gives their all and strives for excellence on the court.
