Wikipedia - Xavier Musketeers women's basketball
The Xavier Musketeers women's basketball team represents Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Big East after moving from the Atlantic 10 following the 2012–13 season. The Musketeers are currently coached by Billi Chambers.
History
The Musketeers previously competed in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference after spending the first three years of Division I play in the North Star Conference, beginning in the 1983–1984 season. The women's basketball team began competing in the 1971–72 season under coach Tony Brueneman and had their first winning season two years later, obtaining a 7–6 record.
The Xavier Women's basketball team is a powerhouse in collegiate basketball, representing Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Known for their tenacity, skill, and teamwork, the Xavier Women's team has a rich history of success in the NCAA. With a roster of talented players and a dedicated coaching staff, they consistently compete at a high level in the highly competitive Big East Conference. Fans of the Xavier Women's team can expect exciting games, fierce competition, and a never-say-die attitude from this dynamic group of athletes. Whether they are playing at home in the Cintas Center or on the road, the Xavier Women's team always brings their A-game and embodies the spirit of Xavier pride.
