Anthony David Benavidez (born December 17, 1996) is an American professional boxer. He is otherwise known as "the Monster" or "The Arizona Wildcat" for his hand speed. He has held the World Boxing Council (WBC) interim light heavyweight title since June 2024, having previously held the WBC super middleweight title twice between 2017 and 2020. Claiming his first world title at 20 years, eight months, three weeks and one day old, Benavidez holds the record as the youngest super middleweight world champion in history. He is ranked second by The Ring magazine, second by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and fourth by BoxRec.
